Sincere condolences to Betty's family. I had the pleasure of working with Betty at the hospital, and later of knowing her, and Bill, at the PAL concerts. As a physio, I found her always very helpful, and supportive of my own role, even though sometimes her nursing duties had to be adjusted in order to accommodate "the physio". She was always willing, and able to discuss mutually agreeable options, and for that respect, I will always appreciate having had the opportunity to work with such a fair-minded lady. Further to that, Betty and Bill lived "at the bottom of my street". Even though we weren't technically neighbours, we were "country neighbours", and I appreciated that she always had time for a brief hello when we met in the village. She will be missed for the light she shone on all she met each and every day. Best wishes to all of her family.
