Pamela Mann

Obituary of Pamela Diane Mann

After a wonderful life shared with family and friends and 60 years of love and marriage, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much-loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Diane Mann. Diane passed away peacefully in her sleep at home at Stoney Lake.

Diane will happily be reunited with her husband Ken and her son Stephen in heaven.

Diane will be missed and forever loved by her children Lisa (Alex) and Kevin (Sandy) and her grandchildren, Kirsten, Natalie, Emily, Ava, Kenneth, Nicholas and Isabelle; as well as her brothers Michael (Debbie) and Pat (Lorie) and daughter in law Ann.

Diane was born in Bromley, Great Britain where her mother heroically escaped in 1954 with her three children and bravely made her way across the Atlantic Ocean to Canada. They emigrated through the famous Pier 21 in Halifax and eventually settled in Everett Ontario after being re-united at Camp Borden with a wonderful man she had known in England, Les Croxan.

Diane was one of the true caring people in our world who always put others before herself. To the end she would not stop speaking of the goodness in others and how fortunate she was to have met so many beautiful people in life.

Diane was fortunate to have shared a love of travelling with her husband Ken with whom she visited more than 40 countries. Her memories are littered with the love and places she has shared with so many. Far more than most could imagine. But her most spoken of memories were of her husband, children and grandchildren. The location did not matter as she always was surrounded by love.

Diane would appreciate any memorial donations to be directed to Jumpstart – a charity for children she and Ken were passionate about.

Diane would simply ask every person to share love and happiness with your circle of family and friends.

As per Diane’s wishes there will be no funeral services.
