Floyd Herbert McCrea
October 13, 1934 – September 21, 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Floyd Herbert McCrea, who passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in his 91st year.
Born in Tory Hill to Gordon and Ethel McCrea, Floyd was known as a hard worker with an enduring love for the outdoors. Quiet but mighty, he had a remarkable gift — he could make or fix anything.
Floyd was predeceased by his beloved wife, Muriel McCrea (nee Junkin), and is lovingly remembered by his wife Linda McCrea (nee Woudwyk). He will be deeply missed by his daughters Susan Tsang (Frankie) and Linda Burke, and forever cherished by his grandchildren Scotia, Erin, and Ryan and his great grandchildren.
Floyd’s love also extended to his wife Linda’s children and grandchildren, who will remember him fondly for the warmth, kindness, and strength he brought into their lives.
A long-time resident of Bobcaygeon, Floyd was a proud businessman who found joy in bringing recreational vehicles to happy owners, leaving a legacy of hard work, service, and community spirit.
Floyd’s quiet strength, kind heart, and dedication to his family will never be forgotten. He lived an incredible full life, and the memories he leaves behind will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
