Obituary of Bob Norris

NORRIS, Donald Robert  ‘Bob’

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on October 16^th, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Shirley Norris, sons Robb and Rick. Bob will be deeply missed by his daughters-in-law Kerry, Debbie and siblings David and Diane. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Caillan (Vicki), Brennan (Amanda), Chelsea, Sarah (Vanessa) and great grandchildren Alex, Wyatt, Chaise, Tanner and Lilah. Bob is predeceased by his siblings Ross, Doug, Debbie, and Gloria. His presence will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and by all who knew him.

Bob was born in Toronto and spent many years in the Markham area. He and Shirley settled in Lakefield where they lived for almost 60 years. Bob worked at Canfor Building Materials as Sales Manager. Bob coached hockey in Lakefield when his sons were young and took up golf and curling in his retirement. Many hours were spent in his woodworking shop, producing heirlooms the family still enjoys. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Hendren Funeral Home – Lakefield Chapel (66 Queen Street, Lakefield) on November 29^th, 2025 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM.
