Obituary of Jean Michalicka

MICHALICKA, Jean (nee Salerne)

Passed away peacefully at home on October 31^st, 2025 in her 94^th year. Cherished wife to Rudy, Jean will be deeply missed by her children Michael (Jen), Diane (Mark) and grandchildren Dillon, Tyler, and Jordan (Tiffany). She will be lovingly remembered by her Sister’s-in-law Ruth Salerne and Patricia Michalicka. Jean is predeceased by her parents Vincent and Viola, and siblings Augustine (Raymond), brother Vincent, sister Fern and Albert (Shirley). She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to the PSW’s, Nurses, and all the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for taking such great care of Jean.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – MONK CHAPEL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 9^th, 2025 at the Clubhouse in Victoria Place (333 Old Surrey Lane, Bobcaygeon) from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM, with words being said at 2:00PM. A visitation is to take place on Monday November 10^th, 2025 at The Hendren Funeral Home – Monk Chapel (6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon) from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM.
