It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Deanna Marie Villers, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  Born August 31, 1959, in Oshawa, Ontario, Deanna possessed an extraordinary gift for nurturing deep, lasting relationships with everyone whose lives she touched.  Deanna’s home was always an open door. Anyone fortunate enough to find themselves in her presence quickly discovered they had gained a second home and a caring heart. Her listening ear, wise counsel, and warm spirit made her a trusted friend and confidant to many.  Deanna is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Mark Northey; her children Jillian Bourgeois, Dawn Stone (Paul), Jason Northey (Mandy), and Jesse Northey; and her cherished grandchildren Julie, Charlie, Kennedy, Kaleb, Amelie, Isabel, Jakob, Makala, Carly, Pagen, Aelis, Ryder, Audrey and Jackson.  She is also survived by her beloved mother Beverly Starr, and is predeceased by her father Emil Baumgartner and Step Father George Miceli. Deanna’s memory will also live on through her best friend of over 40 years, Sylvia Carriere, and her goddaughters Kristen, Breanne, and Elizabeth—all of whom she cherished deeply.  A Celebration of Life in Deanna’s honor will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1-4pm at the Buckhorn Community Center.  Memories will be shared at 2:30 PM.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Sunnybrook Health Sciences, ICU, and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.  Those who knew her are invited to join in remembering a woman whose compassion, laughter, and love made the world a brighter place.
