Cook, Thomas Louttit
Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on November 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Tom Cook of Lakehurst and Lakefield was predeceased by wife Linda (2005) and parents Thomas and Beulah. Tom is survived by two stepchildren and will also be missed by many cousins and close friends. Tom especially appreciated the support and friendship of his neighbours of over 40 years in the Lakehurst area and his many friends at Country Aire Village in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Tom worked as a mechanic in Toronto and in Lakefield at Ellis Automotive for approximately 20 years. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed golfing both locally and in Florida. He loved being out in nature.
Tom’s family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, especially the Cancer and Palliative departments, for their care and support over the course of Tom’s journey with them.
Arrangements have been entrusted to HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Visitation will be held at Hendren Funeral Home, 66 Queen Street in Lakefield, on Monday December 1st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service will take place at 12:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
