Obituary of Loranne Jay Kettlewell

Loranne was the most devoted and loving mother to her beloved son, Noah Kettlewell. She was the cherished daughter of Rae (Small) and John Kettlewell, and the treasured sister of Nicole Gawen and sister-in-law to Jack Gawen. She held a special place in the hearts of her niece and nephew, Grayson and Raegan Gawen. 

Loranne was deeply loved by her extended family, including Darren and Jennifer Kettlewell, Carissa and Dara Yarmand, and Blayne and Emily Kettlewell, along with all of their children, to whom she was affectionately known as Auntie Loranne: Cailey, Skylar, and Logan Kettlewell, Zoey and Iyla Yarmand, and Mara and Arden Kettlewell. She was the adored niece of Gail and Warren Kettlewell, Debbie, Lorie, Wendy, Craig, Donna and Keith and loved by their families.

Her warmth, unwavering love and her pure heart, full of endless courage and strength will be remembered always and missed forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St, Lakefield, ON K0L 2H0 on Saturday December 13, 2025 from 1pm-4pm.  A service celebrating Loranne’s life will be held at 2pm.  To honour Loranne’s love of all things pink, the family kindly asks guests to wear a touch of pink, or all pink, if possible, when attending her service. Those who own a piece of Loranne’s jewelry are also invited to wear it on Saturday in her memory.
