O’BRIEN: Juliette Marie “Julie” (Giguère)
February 23, 1927 – December 9, 2025
Passed away at Hospice Peterborough with her family by her side on Tuesday December 9, 2025. Julie O’Brien of Douro in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband Maurice (d. 2014) and her grandson Matthew (d. 2020). Loving mother of Ron, Carol, Cathy, Karen, Judy, John and Jim. Loved mother-in-law of Ray Meadus and John Doherty. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Seamus, Edward, Shelley, Sheila, Dawn, Nick and Kimberly. Proud great grandma of 16 and 1 great great grandson. Predeceased by her parents Esdras and Delila Giguère, her siblings Elian, Marion, Edward, Pauline and Joseph Giguère. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service was held with interment at St. Joseph’s R.C. Cemetery, Douro.
