DILL, Kenneth David

December 17, 1950 - December 12, 2025

 

Kenneth David Dill passed away suddenly on Friday, December 12th, at PRHC in Peterborough, Ontario. His unexpected passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Ken was a very humble, loving, and hardworking man whose generosity and kindness touched countless lives. He was devoted to his family and lived his life with quiet strength, integrity, and compassion. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Ken gave freely of his time and talents and was a valued contributor to his community. He will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met.

Ken was deeply loved by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (née Dusten) Dill of 53 years; his children, Melissa Mitchell (Rory) and Kenton Dill (Tina); and his cherished grandchildren, Kyla and Wade Mitchell, Sawyer Dill, and extended grandchildren Marissa, Xavier, and Blaze. Ken will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters, Don and his wife Linda, Marian and her late husband Bill, Jean and her husband Wayne, sister-in-law Dorothy, and brother-in-law Paul. Predeceased by his brothers, Arnold (1962), Allan (2023), his mother, Isabella (2014) and father, Frank (1997), and brother-in-law Scott (2005). He is also lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Ken was a dedicated tradesman, specializing in construction and masonry. His passion for his craft took him around the world, leaving a lasting mark everywhere he worked. Ken’s legacy of love and generosity will live on through his family and the many people he touched throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Cremation has taken place.
