Obituary of Glenn Bruce Magill

MAGILL, GLENN BRUCE

Glenn Bruce Magill of Norwood, at the age of 63. Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 1, 2026.

 Beloved husband of Vicki Magill, devoted father of Brett Magill, and dear son of Irene Magill. Glenn is survived by his sisters Lori (Dan) and Cindy (Ian), father-in-law Stewart Cameron and mother-in-law Lynn Cameron, brother-in-law Will, sister-in-law Amanda (Jeff), and nieces and nephews Virginia (Jamie), Jade (Adam), Chris, Tara (Amar), Jason (Claudia), Quinn, Eva, and Anna. As well as great nieces and nephews. Glenn is also predeceased by his father Bruce Magill. 

Glenn loved the outdoors, and many of his favourite pastimes involved being out in nature. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, building campfires, bird watching and rockhounding. Glenn loved golf, and spent much time at Oakland Greens Golf & Country Club. Glenn was also an active member of the Campbellford gun club. Glenn was a welder, steel fitter for over 40 years at Unitrak in Port Hope. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – NORWOOD CHAPEL. A service will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at Hendren Funeral Home, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, with a visitation taking place two hours prior.
