Obituary of Joan Helen Tedford

TEDFORD: Helen “Joan” 

Passed away at PRHC on January 14, 2026. Daughter of the late Steward Tedford and Ena Graham. Survived by brother Keith and his wife Kathy Tedford of Peterborough, and sister Barbara Özkan of Peterborough. 

A special thank you to the staff at the Lakefield VON Day Program who prepared Joan for her smooth transition to Fairhaven, where she became a “social butterfly”, enjoying all the activities. Thank you to Dr. Shahbaz and all the PSWs and staff for understanding and caring for Joan. 

Thank you to the staff at PRHC Emergency Department, and to Dr. Mahendirany and staff on B4 and D2 for your care, understanding, and guidance.
