
Obituary of Mary Fuller
(THORA) MARY FULLER (née LAMB)
April 6, 1930 – February 13, 2026
Mary passed into the presence of our Lord peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Extendicare Lakefield at the age of 95. Mary was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was the loving wife of Ronald Edwin Fuller, who passed in 2014 after 64 years of marriage. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Bertram Maurice Lamb and Winnifred Lamb (White). She was also predeceased by her brother, William Ross Lamb, her father-in-law, Edwin William Fuller, and his wife, Betty Fuller (Daniels). Mary will be dearly missed by her daughter, Susan (Frank deceased), and her son, David (Susan), as well as grandchildren Daniel (Connie), Elizabeth (Tyrell), and Samuel, and great-grandchildren Vanessa, William, Ezekiel, and Azariah.
Mary was born in Toronto and attended Northern Secondary School. She married her husband, Ron, on February 16, 1950. They lived in Toronto for a few years, where she worked as an executive assistant at various firms, and in 1953, she gave birth to her daughter, Susan. In the early 1950s, Mary, Ron, and Susan moved to Peterborough, where Ron operated a service station. After a few years, they returned to Toronto, where in 1957 her son David was born. Shortly thereafter, the family moved into the home of her in-laws, on Summerhill Avenue. In 1986, Ron retired, and Ron and Mary moved to Burleigh Falls, where they lived until Ron passed, and Mary moved to Extendicare Lakefield.
Burial has taken place at Little Lake Cemetery, beside Mary’s parents and husband. A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at Apsley Community Chapel, 299 McFadden Road Apsley, at a later date.
