WILLOUGHBY, Douglas ‘Doug’
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas (Doug) Willoughby peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Bonnie for 67 years. Doug will be deeply missed by his children Dougie (Gail), Kim (Jim), Heather (Jim), and Kristin along with grandchildren Leah, Douglas John, Adam, Danielle, Alicia, Brittany, Kyle, Jaydin, Kyra, Olivia and Lily. Doug was a cherished great grandparent to Bryce, Carter, Shyannah, Jordon, McKenna, Kaydin, Mason, Lacey, Larson, Myah, Kendra, Noah and great great grandparent to Lola and Brook. Doug is survived by siblings Barbara and Lloyd and pre deceased by Bruce. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and by all who knew him.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff on D2 and especially Dr. Blake at PRHC for their constant support and compassion while they navigated their father's ever-changing health.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – NORWOOD CHAPEL. A visitation will take place on February 27th, 2026 at The Hendren Funeral Home (36 Queen Street, Norwood) from 12:00 PM till 1:30 PM, with a service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment is to follow the service at Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery with a reception afterwards at the Norwood Legion (27 King Street, Norwood).
