Passed away unexpectedly after heart complication at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday March 12, 2026.  Gord Guest of Ennismore in his 66^th year.  Gord began working for his father at D.R. Guest and Sons Masonry in his early years and for the past many years has worked for Delray Granite in Lakefield.  He spent his time helping family & friends with various projects and attending family events. He loved to sing and participated in several church productions and in the last few years he was very dedicated to his friends and contacts over social media.  He is sadly missed by his daughter Faith Guest (Shawn Clark), brothers Jim Guest of Buckhorn, Arthur Guest (Jennifer) of Lakefield, sister Dale Henry (Carl) of Ennismore and sister-in-law Susan Guest of Buckhorn.  Also missed by his nephews Daniel Guest (Connie), James Henry, niece Elizabeth Fraser (Tyrell), great niece Vanessa and great nephews William, Ezekiel and Azariah.  Lovingly remembered by. David and Susan Fuller and Samuel Jennings.  Predeceased by his parents Don and Alma Guest and brother Frank Guest.  A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at the Lakehurst Hall on Friday April 17, 2026 beginning at 4:00 PM.  For those who wish, the interment will take place at 3:00 PM at Sandy Lake Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
