Ira Wayne Sterling Brown, born on March 25, 1981, in Lindsay ON, was sent to his eternal home on April 6th, 2026, in Curve Lake, ON. He was the beloved husband to Samantha Mulock, loving father to Ira Maxwell, cherished son of Wayne and Mary Brown, and brother to Sharlene, brother-in-law to; Joel (Jennifer), Jennifer (Shawn), and Alicia (Scott).

Ira, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering empathy to assist others. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, who adored him dearly. Ira will be deeply missed by his nieces, Kaileigh, Keira, Mackenzie, Taylor, Coralie, Charlie, Haileigh, Alexa-Kate, Averi, Dallas, and by nephews, Kody, Curtis, Zachery, Deaton and Hayden, and a host of cousins who shared in his joyful spirit. 

Ira was well known for his love of baseball, hockey, fishing and helping others in his community. He touched the hearts of many. Those who knew Ira will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted love for his family, and his unwavering commitment to bring laughter, and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME - LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to honor the life of Ira Wayne Sterling Brown will be held on May 23rd at 2 PM at the Manilla Community Hall.
