Uncle Phil was always a funny guy. He and I shared a love of singing and weightlifting. My favorite memory of him is the time that our family visited him and my aunt Mary, during our summer vacation. We were having a barbecue and to cook the corn on the cob, Uncle Phil filled a small metal bathtub with water and heated it up with a blow torch! He always found a way to get things done. He always made a point of stopping to see us in Michigan on his way to Texas every year. There was never a dull moment.

Roger and Linda our deepest condolences on the passing of your father.
I have many memories of Phil, but the one that stands out is the building of an ultralight airplane. I not sure if it ever got of the ground but it was interesting watching Phil, dad and other guys working on it.
Phil was always singing every time youn saw him.
R.I.P Phil

Joyce and I are sorry to hear that Phil has passed away.
I got to know Phil after my mom bought our house on Spring Street in January 1965.
He was always friendly and did our oil furnace maintenance work.
Always happy and upbeat.
Treasure your memories of him.
