Passed away peacefully at home on May 30th, 2026 in his 76th year. Doug will be deeply missed by cherished life partner Patti, her daughter Paige. His children Adam (Lisa), Leslie (Dan). Grandfather to Lacey (Caleb), Kailynn, Mason and great grandfather to Eden. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Eldred (Betty), Gord (Dianne) and is predeceased by his brother Rod and parents Herbert and Mary Bell. He will be forever loved by his many nephews, nieces, friends and family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lakefield Legion - Branch 77, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield on Sunday June 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00PM. Everyone is welcome to drop in and celebrate Doug's life with his family and friends.
