Obituary of Harley James Milne
Harley James Milne, 51, of Douro-Dummer, Ontario
March 21, 1975 – June 4, 2026
Harley was born in London, Ontario, to Gail Marie (McIntosh) Milne and Harvey Robert Milne. When he was 3 months old, he moved with his parents to the 5th Line of Dummer Township where he grew up. It was here he developed his love of nature, wildlife, and trees. He attended St. Paul’s Catholic School in Lakefield, then Lakefield District Secondary School. He enrolled later at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Lindsay Campus, to study Forestry.
He started a successful company, Stoney Lake Tree Services, serving the Stoney Lake and Peterborough area for 26 years, which he was passionate about. His greatest joys however were his 2 children, Holden and Hazel, who he adored and was so proud of.
Harley is survived and lovingly missed by his son Holden Milne and his daughter Hazel Milne, his brothers Tyler Milne, Terry Milne, and Kelly Milne. Cherished and deeply missed by his mother, Gail Milne, and grandmother Yolande McIntosh. Lovingly remembered by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, and his special friend Wendy. Harley is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Milne, grandfather Robert Milne, father Harvey Milne, and grandfather James McIntosh.
