Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on June 15, 2026. William “Bill” Legrow of Peterborough and Curve Lake, at the age of 76. Bill will be dearly missed by grandchildren James, Sam and Steph Braithwaite, sister MaryAnne (Bruce) Hoyle, and nieces and nephews Todd Legrow, Jamie Legrow, Seana Hoyle, Mitch (Diane) Hoyle and their son Hudson, Laurie Slattery, Patty Slattery, and Tom Slattery and Amanda (Chris) Tattrie and their son Jace. Bill is also survived by his sisters-in-law Pat Slattery and Terri Legrow, as well as many cousins and extended family. Predeceased by his loving wife Eva Campbell, parents John and Winnifred Legrow and brothers Dave Slattery, Johnny (Pat) Legrow, and Frank Legrow. 

Bill worked at General Motors in Oshawa for several decades, and after retirement moved to live full-time at the cottage in Curve Lake. He was a fan of stock car racing and the outdoors. Bill loved to get out on the lake, whether on a jet ski, a pontoon, or a fishing boat. He was a generous uncle and loved spending time with his family and socializing with neighbours.
