Barbara Dianne Hawkins

February 19, 1941 – June 27, 2026

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Barbara Dianne Hawkins on Saturday June 27, 2026 at Hastings Centennial Manor, at the age of 85.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Jack Hawkins and a loving, devoted mother to, the late Raymond Lyons, Lois White, Gordon Lyons, Heather Lockwood and her husband Bam, and Douglas Lyons.

She was a proud and cherished grandmother and great -grandmother.

Barbara’s life was defined by her kindness, compassion and willingness to help others. She had a generous heart and a caring spirit. Her greatest passion was caring for those around her, and the love she shared with family.

Barbara will be lovely remembered by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Hastings Centennial Manor for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Barbara during her time there.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A family graveside service and internment will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Hendren Funeral Homes-Lakefield Chapel
