Davies, Mavis (nee Price)

Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on July 10th, 2026. Mavis (nee Price) of Lakefield in her 95th year. Beloved wife of 61 years to John Russell Davies. Loved by her children Michael Burton-Davies (Jane) of Bobcaygeon, Judith Stephenson (Craig) of Mississauga and the late Ruth Joanna Margaret Davies. Nana will always be remembered by grandchildren David Burton-Davies (Salatiel), Sarah Varashin (Katie), Campbell Stephenson (Sophie) and Nikola Stephenson (Matt), and by great granddaughters Ismay, Enza and Lucia Varashin, and great grandson Johnathan Perl.  Also remembered by her sister Janice Jacob (Derek) and many other family members and good friends in Great Britain and Canada. The family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff at Peterborough Extendicare. 

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St., Lakefield, on Saturday September 12^th, 2026 at 12:00 PM with a reception to follow the memorial service.
