Obituary of Fay Crawford

CRAWFORD, Fay           

June 15, 1933 – July 22, 2026

Passed away peacefully at Station Place in Havelock on July 22^nd, 2026. Daughter of William and Violet Atkins, and sister to William and James. Finally reunited with her late husband Brian, of 67 years, who promised to meet again. Fay will be deeply missed by her son Michael (Betty). Fay was a cherished grandmother to David (Lauren) and Laura (Willem). Cherished great grandmother to Liam, Drew, Isabelle, Olivia, Abigail and Eleanor. Fay will be lovingly remembered by her cousins Sue (Lloyd) and Wayne.

Fay was an avid Blue Jay’s fan with the game always on. She spent many winters in Florida with Brian, attending the Jay’s Spring Training. Fay loved classic Humphrey Bogart movies, and was an avid gardener. The family would like to give their many thanks to the care-givers at Station Place in Havelock and previously at Peterborough Retirement Residence as Fay suffered for many years battling Alzheimer’s.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A private interment at Hillside Cemetery, Lakefield, is to take place at a later date.
