Obituary of Joyce Dianne Plumpton

Plumpton, Joyce Dianne (nee Davis) 

Passed away at St. Joseph’s at Flemming on August 10^th, 2026. Beloved wife to the late Charles Levi Plumpton. Loving mother of Currie (Diane) Plumpton, Jerry (Vicky) Plumpton and Jane (Paul) Lashbrook. Dear sister to Marvin Davis. Adored Grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 14. 

Joyce loved her family and friends very much. She always supported the people close to her and was glad to help anyone she could in any way. She was a warm host who always took great care of her visitors and had a deep love for animals, especially her cats. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

Family and friends are called to attend a visitation on Thursday August 13^th, at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES- LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  A funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home the follow day, Friday August 14^th, at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow the service at Hillside Cemetery, 12 Casement Lane, Lakefield, with reception back at the funeral home in the heritage room.
