Lynda & Terry, just a line to send our deepest condolences to your whole family. We are so happy we had an opportunity to pay our respects to you all at the funeral home, but there are never words to actually say how you feel. We only have to hope that you know. We go back so many years ago, when I thought I would die, if you couldn't do my hair when I wanted, but you always came across. We remember when we built our first home on Rolliston Street, and we became friends, and Dan insisted on wiring the garage for Charlie, but wouldn't take any money, because he considered it as learning experience. We also have vivid memories when you ran for the Queen of Lakefield, and when you didn't win, our daughter was devastaded. She said the vote wasn't fair, because you were by far the most beautiful and she gave you her only bible and wrote you a note saying it wasn't fair, that you should have won. I will never forget it. We also remember when you guys went to Mexico, and brought us back as a gift this black velvet matadour. I thought it was the greatet gift I was ever given. So,so, many memories, but Charlie was so taken that weeks before Dan passed away that you guys dropped in for a visit , and I only regret that I wasn't home, that we couldn't have had a more enjoyable one. I don't have to tell you how many, many friends you guys have made through your journey of life , and left an inpact on so many, but we know that you know, and hang on to that wonderful tribute for life. So few couples make it as many years as you did, and still had that wonderful closeness, and best friend relationship that you had to the end. Please know our whole family is here if you need anything. Judy, Charle & families.

Dear Kearnes Family and Friends, I have just today learned of the passing of Kearnesy and felt a great sadness for his family and friends. I only knew Dan for a short time but in that time I came to know that he was nothing short of a Great man. A real zest for live and always had an entertaining story to tell. His presents was always known by his distinctive voice and laugh and when he would leave or walk out of a room it was like the end of a really good show that you just can

It is with great shock and sadness that I learned of Kearnesy's passing. We worked with him for a very short time at Darlington, but quickly got to see his strength of character, kindness of heart and fantastic sense of humour. Meeting him was a real pleasure; his stories were a highlight at the end of the day. His love of his family was obvious and something to admire. Deepest sympathies go to his family and multitude of friends.
