Terence (Terry) Harvey Johnston
On August 27, 2023, in his 69th year, Terry peacefully fell asleep and woke up in heaven. This was our prayer.
Terry is the loving and devoted husband of Dawn (nee Houghton). He will be deeply missed by his step children Glenn (predeceased), Brooke (Scott) and Kelly, along with his many step grandchildren and great grandchild.
Terry will also be missed by his father Ross Johnston of Bancroft, mother Lorraine (nee Paquette; predeceased) and siblings Sherry (Terry), Perry (Tammy, Tanner – predeceased, and Kyle), Jerry (Debbie), and Kerry (Toby, Kenzie and Taylor).
A service will be held at The Selwyn Outreach Center, 2686 Lakefield Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J6X5 on Friday September 8th. Visitation will be between 11am – 12pm. The service will commence at 12pm to 1pm with a reception to follow.
Terry’s final wish was that his service not be formal. He has asked that anyone wishing to participate, wear your favourite sports or league shirt or jersey.
