George Neil McClenaghan

May 1^st, 1941 – September 10^th, 2023

George known to family as Neil, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife of 59 years, Joan, at his side. Survived by his two sons Alan, (Julie) and Simon (Cathy) and his two grandchildren Elise and Evan, his brothers in Northern Ireland, Willie (Moreen) Jackie (Christine), his sister-in-law Joan, and niece Sandra and their respective families. Neil will be remembered fondly by his family in Canada, sister-in-law Mabel, brothers-in-law Sam (Sheila), Dennis (Jennifer), Thomas (Josie) and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Neil led a productive and happy life. He emigrated to Canada with his family from Northern Ireland in 1975. In his professional life in sales, the results of his knowledge and skills are still in evidence today, in many of the natural resource industries in Canada. After retiring from his sales career, he continued to work, running a small home-based business for over 20 years.

He enjoyed his home life, barbequing on the deck and entertaining friends and family. Renovating, maintaining his home and watching football were some of his many pursuits.

Neil will be remembered and sadly missed.
