Obituary of Roberta Marie Kennedy

KENNEDY, Roberta Marie (Nee Wright)

Passed away peacefully on December 19^th, 2023 at Peterborough Hospice. Beloved wife of the late William Kennedy. Loving mother of Garfield (Colleen), Laura (Dennis) Rideout and Nick (Michelle). Cherished grandmother of Echo “Zion” (Jayden) Lucier, Billie (Corrie) Savage, Rebekah and Nicholas. Step grandmother to Kaitlyn, Samantha (Steve), Claire and Amelia. Beloved great grandmother to James and step-great-grandmother of Charlie, Jean, Quentin, Ryland and Daxton. Dear sister to Margaret (Lloyd). Roberta was a kind and beloved kindergarten teacher for more than 30 years. She had a love for music and played organ at the local presbyterian church, as well as gave lessons on the piano.  Roberta will be missed by many more family and friends. 

A Visitation will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on December 23^rd, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM till 12:45 PM. A service will begin at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at Verulam Cemetery at 2:30 PM. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Peterborough Hospice or the Ross Memorial Hospital.
