Obituary of Carole Gladys Trumble

TRUMBLE: Carole Gladys (nee Barnes)

Carole Trumble of Lakefield in her 80^th year, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming Long Term Care Home in Peterborough on Thursday December 21, 2023, with her devoted daughters by her side.  Carole, along with her husband Gary purchased the Katchiwano Golf Course in 1994 after the death of Gary’s father Art and successfully operated the course until last year.  Carole is the loving wife of the late Gary Trumble (d. 2015).  Dear mother of Karen Salviato (Tony) of Mount Albert, Juanita Jordan of Brampton, Scott Jordan of Newmarket, Gilbert Barnes (Lori) of Norland, Michael Barnes of Pickering and the late John Barnes.  She is missed by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday December 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  Visitation two hours prior to the service.  Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lakefield.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army as expressions of sympathy by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.comor by calling 705-652-3355.
