Obituary of Thelma Edith Murphy

MURPHY: Thelma Edith (nee Robinson)

Passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2024 at Case Manor Care Community, Bobcaygeon, at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of the late Michael “Frank” Murphy.  Thelma will be forever loved and missed by her children Cheryl Lorenz, Michael (Judy Wilson) and Marion Violette.  Proud grandma of 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Thelma was a devoted wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.  She enjoyed swimming and relaxing at her cottage on Salmon Lake where she also taught her grandchildren to swim, as well as row a boat.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Case Manor for all of their help and care.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Case Manor Care Community by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-738-3222.
