Obituary of George Hedge

HEDGE, George Spencer (April 10, 1935-December 15, 2009) George was predeceased by his wife and best friend Miriam in February 2009. He will be missed by his sons Sean (Kimberly) of Edmonton, Richard (Lori) Ferguson of Woodville, Michael (Jayne) of Edmonton and by his stepchildren Linda (David) Rammelt of Chicago, Cathy (Mike) Stam of Ajax and Daryl (Megan) MacLennan of Brooklin. He was the proud Papa of Colin and Meaghan Ferguson, Charlize Martin-Hedge, Emma Jayne Hedge, Dylan Hooper, Vanessa and Zack MacLennan, Matthew and Ryan Stam, and Taylor, Carson and Charlotte Rammelt. The Bobcaygeon Choristers will remember their founding director for his dry wit, demanding standards, and most of all his friendship. Visitation at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, December 21, 2009 from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Branch 239 Legion members and visiting members are asked to assemble at Monk Funeral Home at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday.
