Obituary of George Thomas HARWOOD

HARWOOD: George Thomas (RCAF) Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday March 10, 2007. George Harwood of Lakefield (formerly of Scarborough) in his 84th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Thelma Harwood (nee Bent). Loving and cherished father of Sharon Anderton (late Brian) of Huntsville, Valerie Bailey (John) of Barrie, Lynn Edwards (Steve Running) of Omemee and Audrey Quirion (Darrell) of Ajax. Cherished Grandpa of Stephen and Charlene, John (Lee Ann), Tanya (Martyn), Janet (Dave) and Jeffrey, Sabrina and Jason, Kelly (Rob), Jennifer and Kyle (Laura). Always remembered by great grandchildren Daniel, J.T., Elisabeth, Joshua, Kylie, Jocelyn and Paige. Dear brother of Keith Harwood (Dorothy). George will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Nena Harwood and brother Eric Harwood. A funeral service will be held from the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lakefield on Tuesday March 13, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation to commence at 11:00 A.M. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
