Obituary of Gerald Joseph Joe HEWIE

HEWIE: Gerald Joseph 'Joe' Passed away at the P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. site on Friday, April 20, 2007. Joe Hewie of Peterborough in his 86 th year. Sadly missed by his wife of over 60 years Ola May (Stabler). Also missed by his children Robert Hewie and his wife Regina of Toronto and Sharon Hewie and her husband Alan Good of Toronto. Grandpa will be remembered by Dwayne, Christopher, Colin and Connor and great grandchildren Dillin, Kaytlyn and Amanda. Survived by his brother Mickey Hewie and his sisters Esther Gillespie, Jean Russell, and Merele Johnston and her husband James, all of Peterborough. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Edna (Blake) Hewie, his brothers Bernard and Lionel and sister Doreen Rogers. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
