Obituary of Jerome (Jerry) McCARTHY

McCARTHY: Jerry Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday May 31, 2007. Jerry McCarthy of Lakefield in his 79th year. Jerry was a longtime employee (33 years) of the Lakefield Research (SGS) and a faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield for over 75 years. Loved and missed by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn. Also missed by his children Brian McCarthy (Karen) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Jim McCarthy (Debbie) of Lakefield, Nancy Anne Coates (David) of Moonstone, ON and Jeanie Scott (Blaine) of Midland. Grandpa will be remembered by Alison, Justin, Kevin, Carrie, Michael, Blayne, Christopher, Katie, Emily and his great grandchildren Joshua, William, Ava and Owen. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret. brothers Jack and Bernard and sister Adele Morin. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Sunday June 3, 2007 from 1-4 PM. Parish Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield on Monday June 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Young's Point.
