Obituary of Catharine Ruth YOUNG

YOUNG, Catharine R. (nee McGrath) Catharine, a lifetime resident of St. Catharines, ON, died peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Dr. site, on Thursday July 5, 2007, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Dear wife of the late Harold R. Young, Q.C., beloved mother of David (Patricia) of Owen Sound, Rosemary (Donald Shattuck) of Lakefield, Martin of Quadra Island, BC, and Barbara (Richard Moore) of Kelowna, BC and loving grandmother of Erin Young (Jason Farrell) and Heather Young of Toronto, Daniel Shattuck of Lakefield, Archie and Max Moore of Kelowna, BC. Catharine will be lovingly remembered by her family and her cherished friends and clubs. Catharine was also predeceased by her brother Flight Sergeant Bernard McGrath, RCAF who was killed in action over Belgium in 1942 and by her sister Anita Scobie in 1988. Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at a later date.
