FRANKS: Laura E. Passed away at Peterborough Regional Hospital, Hospital Drive Site on Tueday, August 28, 2007 . Laura Franks of Apsley in her 75th year. Dear wife of the late Jim Franks. Sadly missed by her son Jim Franks (Denise) of Hamilton, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 am. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. A reception will be held in the funeral home following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
