Obituary of Gordon Downey

(Chartered Life Underwriter) Gord passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay in his 80th year. Gord was the beloved husband of Perry (Perrene) for 59 years. Father of Nancy and her husband George Wray, Sandra and Joanne and her husband Rob Hayward. Very proud Grampa of Ben and Matt Hayward. Gord is survived by his sisters Betty and Audris and was predeceased by brothers Garry and Jim. The family is grateful for the care that Gord received at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario and Peterborough Regional Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the above hospitals would be appreciated.
