Obituary of Ronald Littleford
LITTLEFORD: Ronald Edward At the Fairhaven Home, Peterborough, on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Ron Littleford of Peterborough in his 83rd year. Ron was a proud veteran of WWII having served overseas in the R.C.N. He was a longtime community volunteer with the Boy Scouts (Bendale-Scarborough) and community policing (Hamilton Twsp., Port Hope & Crimestoppers). Sadly missed with unending love by his wife of 25 years, Elaine (Rumsey). Also missed by his children, Edward Littleford (Annette) of Hamilton, Alice Wagner (Don) of Scarborough, Allen Littleford of Keswick, Douglas Littleford (Nancy) of Colborne and David Littleford (Debbie) of Keswick. Grandpa is remembered by 6 grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by all of his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents and his brother Harry. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Thursday January 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Fairhaven Foundation or the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy.
