Obituary of Susan Hamilton

HAMILTON: Susan Francis (nee Godwin) Peacefully in the presence of her family, Susan got her wind beneath her wings and passed away in the arms of God on Friday February 29, 2008 at the P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. site at the age of 58. Predeceased by her father William David ""Bill"", her mother Patricia Godwin (nee Elkerton) and her sister Barbara Closs. She will be fondly missed by her knight in shining armour, her devoted husband of 22 years, Gordon Earle Hamilton and their precious dog Cocoa. Also missed by her sister (twin) born 6 years later on Susan's birthday, Patty Crawford (Bye my best friend) and her husband Bob, sister Debbie Linhardt and her husband Mike and brother-in-law Bill Closs. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and Brodie & Missy. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Tuesday March 4, 2008 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield at 11:00 AM. Cremation. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
