Dear Nana and my Family: It is with a mixture of great sadness and happy memories that I write this today. Charlie and I remember when Grandpa spoke at out wedding almost 25 years ago! Myself, I fondly look back at all the summers I spent at the cottage with Nana and Grandpa, and of being a very young age laughing and begging for horsey rides on Grandpa's knee! Our family remembers Grandpa for his humour, wisdom and kind guidance. To my Nana--we send you hugs and kisses for always. To my Mom and Daddy--Your caring, generosity, knowledge and guidance with Grandpa have been heart breaking for me to hear. My thoughts are with you during this most difficult time. Love you.

Dear Beryl, so very sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and soul mate. Bert and Phil had a special relationship that lasted throughout their lives. If I, personally, have one endearing quality to remember of Bert, it was his wonderful sense of humour. He will certainly be missed by his family, siblings and extended family. To you, Marilyn, Barbara, Terry, Helen and their families, our sincere condolences. Love, Marion and Greg

Our deepest sympathies go out to Beryl and the Wetmore family. Bert and Beryl were our friends and neighbours on Deer Bay. Jeff sits in the recliner chair that Bert gave us every day at the cottage. We will miss him. Susan and Jeff

For Helen - I don't know if you will remember me or not, but I remember you well. We were at PCVS together, way back in the '70's. I was thinking of you just the other day when I drove by the park where we used to sit during our school lunch hours, and wondered where you were now, and how you were doing. I was so sorry to then read of your dad's passing. He lived to a good age, but it's never a good time to lose a parent. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you - not just now, in your time of sorrow, but as an old friend with fond memories. Deborah
