Obituary of Jacqueline McMaster

Suddenly after a brief illness, with her family by her side. Jackie will be missed most by Al, her cherished husband of 63 years. Their devotion to each other was an inspiration to all who knew them. Loving mother to Lynne (Chris), Greig (Libby), and Mark (Jan). Adoring Grandma to Conor, Aaron, Marijke (Bryan), Sarah, Alexander, Alexandra and Kelsey. Jackie’s family will dearly miss the full jar of freshly baked peanut butter cookies she always had waiting for them. Beloved sister to Ron (Carol) and Marge. Sister-in-law to Rene, predeceased by brothers Frank and Grant. Jackie will be sadly missed by the many friends she made during her 50 plus years of service to Scouts Canada that she shared with Al and numerous years with the Girl Guides of Canada. The McMaster family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for the exceptional care she received. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Family and friends will be received at MONK FUNERAL HOME, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. with a reception. Messages of condolence and donations may be placed at www.monkfuneralhome.com
