PIET: Maarten Passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday June 30, 2008. Maarten Piet of Lakefield in his 75th year. Loved and missed by his wife of 50 years, Corry. Also missed by his children Joanne Faber (Martin) of Newmarket, Peter Piet (Elizabeth) of Lansdowne, Janice Dahms (Kevin) of Wilberforce and Darlene Piet of Newmarket. Dear Opa to Mark, Ryan, Daniel, Maarten, Joshua, Bryen, Trevor and Kristian. Survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday July 4, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from Cephas Christian Reformed Church, 220 Goodfellow Rd. Peterborough, on Saturday July 5, 2008 at 1:00 pm.
