NORTHEY, Alvin Edwin Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Lakefield on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Alvin Northey formerly of RR#1 Lakefield in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Anna (Rayner). Loving father of Wm. James (Marsha) and Marilyn Riel (Robert). Cherished grandfather of Amy Kelly (Kirk), Melissa Northey, Duane Riel (Ocean), Cheryl Riel (Greg Velcheff) & Trevor Riel (Sarah Arseneau), great grandfather of Morgan Riel, Kayla Shearer, Jakson Riel, Ava Kelly and Ryland Velcheff and step great grandfather of Cyrus Arseneau. Dear brother of Hazel Hart. A funeral service will be held from the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lakefield on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 12:00 noon., with visitation to commence one-hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Lakefield United Church Hall.
