Obituary of Rodney Deane

DEANE: Rodney William ""Bill"" (R.N.R. WWII Veteran) Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday December 20, 2008. Bill Deane of Lakefield in his 83rd year. Bill graduated in 1959 from the University of Michigan in Minerology and was employed for 30 years at Lakefield Research (SGS). Loved and missed by his wife of 53 years, Betty (Gregg). Dad will be remembered by Mary Louise Deane of Brampton and John Deane of Barcelona, Spain. Bubba is missed by Morgan Chandler. Survived by his son-in-law Tim Chandler, brothers Peter of South Africa, Michael of Australia and several nieces. Predeceased by his parents Felix John Deane and Marguerite E.L. Pither. A private family Memorial Service will take place. Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield as expressions of sympathy.
