Obituary of Charles McWhinnie

McWHINNIE: Charles a.k.a. ""Guitar Charlie"" Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Peterborough after a courageous battle with cancer, two days after his 50th birthday on Friday January 16th, 2009. Lovingly remembered by his son Cory McWhinnie of Toronto. Sadly missed by his parents Robert & Jean McWhinnie of Norwood, his brother Frazer (Zita) McWhinnie of Toronto and sister Sheena McWhinnie of Peterborough. Also missed by his nephews Robbie, Kevin and Justin McWhinnie. Survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by uncles Charlie & Sam Coats. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen St., Norwood, on Tuesday January 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
