Darlene, Rod, immediate family and all: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you are grateful and take great happiness in a life well spent and meaningful to yourselves and to everyone who even slightly knew Jim. I kick myself for not keeping more in touch - you have so much to be proud of as a family. Jim exemplified what many of us can only hope or strive for. God bless you all. (and Rod - you were and are ever so lucky!!!!) My best, always - Sean.

Uncle Jim was always in great spirits and full of witty comments. When I was young we looked forward to visiting Melody Bay and had so much fun there. Although lately I haven't seen much of Uncle Jim, I will miss him. love Nancy xo

Grandpa, you are loved, admired, respected, cherished, honoured, but most of all you are missed. There won't be a day that goes by that we don't think of you, one of your funny stories, or little sayings, we'll remember those and smile. You were truly an amazing man who had the ability to make everyone around you smile, you touched a lot of people Grandpa. You made each and every one of us feel loved and our accomplishments ohhh so important. You were proud of your family, and we are proud to be a part of it. You taught us the impotance of family and were always the happiest when you had all of us together, those are memories we'll cherish forever. Thank you Grandpa, for being you and making us who we are today! We know you are in a better place, but are sad not to have you to ourselves, you will be missed more than we know. Every moment we got to spend with you was a pleasure, a learning experience, and usually a laugh! We are lucky to have an amazing angel watching over us and our babies! We love you Grandpa....and SHA-ZAM! Love, Kelly & cousins
