Obituary of Phyllis Morton

MORTON, Phyllis Mary (nee Kearn) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the P.R.H.C., on Friday, June 5, 2009. Phyllis (Kearn) of Peterborough in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Morton (1990). Beloved and greatly missed by her children David (Patricia) of Peterborough, Robert (Carolyn) of Whitby and Michael (Linda) of Victoria, B.C. Also sadly missed by her grandchildren Neil Morton (Christi), Denise Morton-Sayles (Todd), Christy Morton-Bhatnagar (Brandon), Shannon Morton, Travis Morton, Carissa Matheson (Dale), Craig Morton (Amanda); and by her great grandchildren Avery, Chloe, Keegan, Noah, Abbey, Ben, Anika and Mila. Lovingly remembered by her sister Elsie Murphy (the late Al Murphy) of Kirkland Lake. Predeceased by her brother Arthur Kearn and sister Evelyn MacDonald. Phyllis has always placed great value on friendship, and all of her many friends over the years have been important to her. She has most of all valued family, which has been the centre of her life. Phyllis' friends and close family friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Phyllis' Life, at Royal Gardens, 1160 Clonsilla Avenue., Peterborough, on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 2 - 4 P.M. A private family service has been held.
