Obituary of Donald Guest

GUEST: Donald R. Entered into the presence of his Lord & Saviour peacefully on Monday July 13, 2009, at the P.R.H.C. Don Guest of R.R. #1 Lakefield in his 87th year. Don was a longtime faithful member of Church on the Rock, Burleigh Falls and will be remembered for his masonry work throughout the area with D.R. Guest and Sons. Loved and missed by his wife of over 60 years, Alma (Barcroft). Also missed by his children Frank (Susan), Jim, Dale Henry (Carl), Gord (Judith) and Art (Jennifer). Grandpa is remembered by Daniel (Connie), Elizabeth and Faith. Survived by his brother-in-law Gerry Peterson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Iris McCarthy, Irene Peterson, Amy Wagner and brother Fred Guest. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church on the Rock, Burleigh Falls on Saturday July 18, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Visitation at the church from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst. A reception will follow at the Lakehurst Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Church on the Rock, Burleigh Falls or the charity of one's choice as expressions of sympathy.
