NICHOLSON: Shirley Elizabeth (of Peterborough, formerly of Newcastle) Suddenly at the P.R.H.C. after a lengthy illness on Friday August 7, 2009 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold ""Nick"" Nicholson. Loving mother of Arnold (Cheryl) Nicholson of Newcastle, Debbie McCrum of Peterborough, Rose (Tom) Couch of Mount Pleasant and the late Douglas Nicholson. Much loved Granny of Christa Couch (Brian Meikle), Bradley, Andrew and Justin Couch, Candice (Mike) Heffernan, Kylle McCrum, Ryan, Taryn and Shayne Nicholson. Dear great grandmother of Nicholas Meikle and Travis Heffernan. Loved sister of Grace (Ken) Sharpe, Margaret Nelson and Walter (Mary) Tully, all of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents Ervin and Amy Tully and brother-in-law Ron Nelson. A Funeral Service will be held from THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Tuesday August 11, 2009 at 12:00 PM with visitation to commence one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst.
