Dear Kay and family: Our card has been returned so we don't have your current address. We were sorry to hear of Chris' passing - he and Peter had a long relationship and always enjoyed each other's company. Please convey our condolences to David and Wendy. Our email is joanjohnston2007@rogers.com so if you like, please send your current address. Don't know if you have been to Ottawa lately, but you certainly would be amazed at the building along the Rideau Road. Take good care of you, Joan & Peter

I remember Chris as an assistant Scouter in the long ago 1950's at Kingsway Church in Ottawa. A fine guy, He combined strictness with a good sense of humor-kept us in line pretty well! Chris will be widely missed-sincere condolences to his family. Rich Fisher

Dear Kay: Ray and I were so sorry to read of Chris's passing. He was always the one caring for you. We have a lot of good memories of you both from the early days of the Aphasia group, and the times you entertained the group at your home. Little did we know when we happened to meet you a couple of weeks ago at the Foot Clinic. Our condolences to you, Kay and the rest of the family. Sincerely Ray & Marie.

To Kay and all the Ormerod Family: We were shocked and saddened to hear of Chris's passing. We go away back to our first years at AECL in 1956. He was a good friend, with a subtle sense of humour (which he applied to his game of golf), but with a real dedication to whatever task he undertook. We know that Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew him through the years, most especially by all of his family. BON VOYAGE, CHRIS!

To the Ormerod Family I was saddened to read in the Ottawa Citizen of Chris's passing. I met Chris when I worked as Unit Coordinator at the Nepean Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society. Chris was always such a willing and enthusiastic volunteer when the April Cancer Month fundraising campaign was on. My thoughts are with you all in the days ahead, may your memories give you comfort. Sincerely, Wendy Banks

Dear Kay, I wish to extend my sincere condolences to you and you family on Chris' passing. I recall fondly playing golf with Chris at the AECL active area golf tournaments. I would only play if Chris was playing as we were the two worst golfers in the gang, and he was the only one I could hope to beat as we competed for worst golfer. I believe Chris will now play with the angels and will probably put Tiger Woods to shame. Best regards Bill MacCallum
